How are you? I'm pretty good, yeah. At the moment I'm alone at home, Jim is bringing Heather up to Auckland. She's going to go to Christchurch to visit her sister. I hope she has a safe travel and that there won't be too much aftershocks in Christchurch (there were 5 this night).
The weather the last days wasn't very nice, it was raining cats and dogs (wow, I missed using that expression :D ).
So, here's what I did the last days!
Monday:
Monday at school I had saxophone-lesson and Jazz-Band. Both were not too bad Since my saxophone-teacher is teaching me how to improvise for a Jazz-Band or Orchestra on my saxophone I had to learn some theoretical stuff.
After school I went to a second-hand bookshop and bought some interesting books. I then went to Justin's place to pick up my new visa-card. Since Justin is doing some magic for the kids who come to see him (he's a chiropracter) we talked and did a bit magic.
Well, before I went to see Justin I walked up to an engraving-shop to give up a special order for my magic, it will be finished on Monday. They told me to come back the next day with the exact design I need to have engraved.
A classmate from Russia became a real Kiwi on Monday as well, so now she's got her New Zealand citizenship =D!
Tuesday:
Tuesday I planned for the magic-double-act that we were supposed to do tomorrow (actually, I think we planned on Monday as well). We had some really good ideas, but something happened today. I'll tell ya later about that.
When school was finished I caught the bus into the city and walked to the engraving-shop again. They told me that they would be able to do the job, so that's done and dusted (yeah, let's use colloquialisms :D ).
When I went home I met a few kids from our neighbourhood. They are a few years younger than me, but it was nice to talk to them.
I think that's pretty much what I did on Tuesday ;D.
Wednesday:
Wednesday was cool. School was okay, we had assembly which wasn't as boring as it is sometimes. Photography was fun, Media-Studies was fun...well, nothing special so far.
After school I went into the city. My IT-teacher told me to go to a computer-shop called 'Dicksmith' to talk to one of the staff-members about my computer-problem which is still unsolved. I did that and guess what..he had a new idea, so I gotta try that out. Well, first I'll take my computer in to Dicksmith tomorrow, because the other staff-member told me to come and see a guy called Matt. He seems to be pretty much into computers, kind of a computer-geek (which is pretty good in this case ;)! ).
I hope he can help me.
Afterwards I went to Casabella-Lane because I wanted to ask Mark, the Barber, if he could give me a hair-cut. I met him on the street and he told me to come along these days, so I'll get my first NZL haircut.
In the evening Heather took me to the dance-center. It was really cool, I had a talk to Leon (he introduced himself the second time this week, last week he introduced himself already). Leon is really sympathetic. I don't exactly know how old he would be (30? 35? 40?) but he seems to know a lot and he's a cool guy ;).
I also talked to another guy somewhere in his 20's, but I forgot his name :P.
I danced with Loryanna, which was fun as always and then I went home.
Thursday:
Today was a pretty good day. Well, the evening was good but the morning wasn't completely perfect.
First I helped my german-teacher translating some medical text. Our German-teacher said he'll bring cake tomorrow, that's cool :).
But then I talked to our Dean Mr. Chibnall and he told me that he would like me to perform alone tomorrow because he's somehow sour with Alex -.-
So I had to tell Alex that our Dean doesn't want him to perform, which upset Alex. We tried to talk to Mr. Chibnall, but he already went home, So I guess I'll be performing alone tomorrow. Therefore we didn't finish the planning for our double-act today, but I hope we can perform it some other day. It would really be fun.
After school I went to Alex's place, we talked a bit, surfed on the net.
Then I caught the bus home, quickly had some tea and then went to the dance-center. Wait. I went to the dance-center yesterday, so why should I go today again? Well, Terry (our dance-teacher) asked if somebody would help out in the new beginner-class today, so I was happy to do that.
Jim and Heather dropped me off at the dance-center at 6:45 (class would start at 7) and went off to Auckland, so that Heather could take her flight to Christchurch.
The beginner-class was good, I talked to Leon again and got to know Scott. He dances since a few months and he gave me a ride back to the bus-center after class. We talked for a while and I performed some magic for him.
Before we left the dance-center Loryanna turned up there for one of her own classes and she invited me to her birthday-party next Friday :). I'll be happy to go there :)!
Her birthday is next Wednesday. If she comes to the dance-center that day I have to think of congratulating here, it would be so embarrassing to forget that :D. Well, I don't think I will forget ;).
So, Scott dropped me at the bus-center. I had to wait for about 30 Minutes and while waiting I started a conversation with some Maori-guy. He's kind of a computer-game-geek (plays World of Warcraft since 5 years nearly every weekend on LAN-Parties) xD. But he was cool. Okay, he was 'on the piss' (means he was drinking alcohol) since 5 in the afternoon because some work-mate was leaving work and they made a party. So it was possible The alcohol had some influence on him, yeah :P.
But okay..he was cool and he told me a bit about the drinking and drug culture in New Zealand, a bit about Hamilton, a bit about computer-games...:D. I performed some magic.
We went into the same bus and met a Maori-named girl (although I'm not sure if she actually is Maori) and had a funny conversation. Although we sat in the back of the bus I guess the driver had fun as well with our conversation :D.
I arrived at home somewhere around 9 and started writing my blog and answering mails...that's where I am right now :P.
Edit: My day just had a perfect ending: One of my friends, Annalisa, who is in the USA at the moment skyped with me. It was so good to see her :)! I really miss here, like all of my friends. So that made me feel good :P.
So, that's it. I'd say see ya next time ;)! Keep Reading!
See ya!
Yours,
Timon.
P.S.: I eat at least one apple a day (An apple a day keeps the doctor away :D :P! ). The apples here are very tasty, so if you ever come to New Zealand remember to taste the apples xD!

Gerda:
Hallo Timon,
