How are you?
I'm very good, the last...10 days or something were very good.
Actually I didn't write my blog for a some of time now but that's allright. You might think I would have written my blog more often since there were holidays but it turns out that I have more free time during school time than during holidays :P. Well, that's life.
The weather over here is improving steadily which is quite good. I just hope that it won't get too hot.
Soo, since I won't be able to recall every single day I will tell you about the most amazing or important things.
So lean back and enjoy (well, while doing so keep reading obviously ;D. )!
Last weekend I went to Kinloch with Murray and Shona Shaw and their son Karl Shaw. It was an amazing weekend!
Kinloch is a little town near Taupo, most of the houses there are holiday houses. It is very very peacefull and really nice!
On Friday Jim dropped me of at the Shaw's house and in the evening Murray and I went to help out for Rotary selling drinks at a rugby-game. I watched a bit of the rugby-game and spent heaps of time in the chiller, refilling drinks. It was quite funny actually since I grabbed the hand of a lady when she reached into the chiller from inside the chiller - she gave a nice little scream :D. Allthough it was cold inside there it was good fun.
On Saturday we went to Kinloch. In the afternoon we went to Taupo (which is only 15 Minutes from Kinloch) and guess what? While we were waiting at a street-light one of the Rotary-Exchange-Students - Anne-Catherin from Belgium - crossed that light. So I jumped out of the car and gave her a hug, she was really surprised to see me :D. That was quite nice.
In the evening we played Scrabble at the Shaw's house. It's a really nice house :).
Shona Shaw won at Scrabble against me, she had 401 points and I had around 130 :D (and she even allowed me to use german words, but I just couldn't think of any that fast :D ).
Last Wednesday Alex the Magician, Alex the singer (the son of Maria who took me to Auckland before) and I went busking. We were quite successfull. Several guys came along who wanted to hire us so we gave them our contact-details, I hope that's gonna work.
I didn't go to the dance-center last Wednesday since I performed at Biddy Mulligan's Irish Pub. The owner said he would like to hire me for a magic-night, so that's pretty cool :).
What else...? Today I went to the dance-center and I got a new dance-partner. Sue, she's about 50 or 60 but really nice and a very good dancer. It's very good to dance with her now.
Monday was the first day back at school, it was quite cool. I tested out an awesome new Mind-Stunt and it worked very good ;D.
Yesterday I asked my Dean to switch me from German to IT, that's done. No German anymore ;D. I think IT makes more sense for me.
Monday we had Jazz-Band and the teacher reminded me that I was ment to play a solo...well, it's not too hard so I could kinda improvise it on my saxophone ;D.
When I was talking with a friend on the bus about mentalism some other guy turned around and said 'Oh, so you must be pretty good ad playing mind-games...I play mind games as well, I fuck people's minds.' -'Aha, interesting, how...?' - 'For example I make them put their shoes in the fridge and their toaster in their bed you know, to freak them out.'
And I just thought 'what the hell is wrong with this guy..?!' -.-
Last Friday I held my first speech at the Rotary-club, the people seemed to enjoy it, I'm happy about that.
Puuh. I think that's all for the moment :D.
I gotta write soon again (now it's school-time, so I have more free time as you know xD. )
Keep an eye on my blog, please =D.
See you!
Yours,
Timon.
