Hey mates!

How is it going?

I'm very good, not even too tired allthough Jerry spent the night here ;D.

I know, I know - I didn't write for about a week, but I wanted to give everyone the chance to see those beautifull photos :P.

The summer is coming here, it's getting warmer and warmer. Time for short pants and t-shirts ;).

Let's see...I'll try to leave out the days I didn't do anything exciting and to describe all the important things ;D.

Monday (Last week, obviously):

Phh...no idea. I think I didn't do anything special. Well, I went for a three-hour-walk and chilled out at Hamilton Lake, that's it pretty much.
By the way: Hamilton Lake is quite nice to chill out, all the birds...I saw a duck-family. Mum and 10 baby-ducks :D.

Tuesday:

Tuesday I did pretty much the same: Chilling out at Hamilton Lake. Exciting, huh?

Wednesday:

Wednesday I discovered three insect-bites on my left ankle (oh, all those moscitos here are eating me...) and they were really big, so Heather took me to the doctor in the evening. First we went to see my counsellor Justin to let him have a look at it since he knows something about medicin, but he too told us to go to a doctor.
So we had to wait about 1.5 hours for the doctor and I missed out dancing. I will miss my dance-class next Wednesday as well since I'll be performing at the Irish-Pub and if it's good they could set up a magic-night for me =D. But I don't wanna miss dancing either :S.

Either way, the doctor gave me some pills and the insect-bites are better now (or am I better and the insect bites are not?).

Thursday:

Thursday was a really good day. Maria from Rotary took me up to Auckland, her son Alex and his friend Maddy joined us as well. Alex is 12 and Maddy is 13. Maria, Alex and Maddy are all three really cool :).
Maria took me up to Auckland because she has a friend who is into magic and mentalism as well and she thought I'd like to talk to him.
It was pretty good. His name is Richard Webster and he's a really good magician and mentalist. We had a long talk about different magic-principles and performed a lot :D. It was really good to get to know him.

Afterwards we went to a pure vegetarian restaurant, it was quite tasty.
Maria's son Alex does busking as well - he sings - so probably we will go busking together some day.
We were back in Hamilton at 8 in the evening, so unfortunately I missed out my dance-class on thursday as well. But it was worth it.

Friday:

Friday morning I met up with Parham. We had lunch together and afterwards we went with his brother Farnam and his dog (whose name I just forgot :D ).
By the way, here's Parham's blog:

We had a long walk to the Hamilton Gardnes (on our way we met our schoolmate Adam and Charlotte and her friend Charles - Charlotte will go out to foreign country with Rotary in January - and we took some great photos at the old cemetry and in the woods. Because it rained earlier the paths were all flooded and some seats were standing in the water :D. When I'm able to upload photos again I will show you the pictures.

In the evening I went with Jim and Heather to their dance-class but it was quite booring for me since it was a beginner-class. So I walked around outside and met three boys (Ryan, James and I can't think of the third name at the moment) and started talking and performing for them. We ended up going to Mecces all together and talking 'till 10 at night. It was quite cool.

When the dance-class finished Jim and Heather wanted to have a coffee with some of their friends at the McCafe, so I had a hot-choclate there as well.

Saturday:

Saturday morning I just strolled around the city. I wanted to go busking but where I normally busk there was another guitar-player, so I didn't set up my table that day.

In the evening Jim and Heather, Jim's friend David and his wife Sabin and their friend Mike and I went to some indian-restaurant. It was ok, but the food wasn't especially spicy unfortunately ;D.

As we came back from that indian-restaurant we saw that there was some kind of party going on nearby so I went for a walk at 11:15 at night and walked over to the party. It was a birthday-party and I wasn't invited (obviously, I don't even know Kim, the birthday-child :D ). I still performed some quick magic-effects and then went off.

Sunday:

Sunday morning I went to Church with Heather, Jim left earlier in the morning for a motor-bike ride.

At 2 Jerry came along and we hang out the day. Jerry would stay the night at our place. So we got some DvD's and some food and some energy-drink. In the evening we went to evening-church, I think Jerry liked it. We had quite an interesting discuisson with our pastor and we played 'Pass the Pigs', an awesome game :D.

When we came back we saw that there was another party going on at the same place a party had been the day before, so we decided to go there later on.

I think we walked into the party at 10 or so and we found out it was a church-party. I performed some magic for one guy, he got his friend to watch me and we ended up having a crowd of 50 youths around us :D. It was really amazing. I quickly went home to get some bigger things to perform, since I didn't expect such a crowd I just had some cards with me which were too small for 50 people crowded ;D.
We took a nice photo in the end, when only a few were left.

At 12 I guess we watched the first movie, Alien vs. Predator. It was quite good.
Immediatly afterwards we watched Alien vs. Predator 2 and it wasn't half as good as the first part, just a cheap second part.
The last movie we watched was The Prestige, a magicians-movie. I saw the movie about 10 times before and I still love it :D.

We went to bed at 5 in the morning.

Monday:

Yeah, Jerry and I went to bed at 5 and got up at 10:45.
Jerry left at 12:45 and I walked over to Dan and Rachel's place (the ones I performed for a few weeks ago) to teach their son Aslan some more magic like I did last Monday. Afterwards I stayed for lunch, it was really nice.

Back home I slept for two or three hours (yes, I was tired) and then brought the DvD's back to the Movie-borrow-shop at about 7. Heather and I had lunch and I started answering emails and writing my blog ;D.

That's it for today, I'd say had a good week ;)!

See ya!

Yours,

Timon.
