Heyho!

I hope you're all fine? I'm pretty fine, allthough we didn't ... oh, well, I'm not right. We did heaps of exciting things today. Very strange, but exciting.
Today was a very rainy day. I had to get up at 9:20 because church would start at 10:00. So I got up, had breakfast...yeah.

We went to church, it was placed in a school-hall. Now imagine the following scene:

You're entering a school hall. There are about 100 seats and 50 people. At the front there are 3 guys singing a rocky song, one of them playing the guitar. All the other people are standing and holding up their hands in the air, they're eyes closed and singing with full intensity, dancing at their places. It reminds me of a rock-concert, but actually this is what I saw when we entered that church/school-hall. Pretty weird, church at home is quite different.
More differences: When a girl felt bad all the people walked up to her and touched her on her shoulder, praying for her.
At some point everybody who's under 20 should come to the front. I stayed at my seat 'cause I was a bit confused and felt a bit uncomfortable. Then all the adults would touch one of the youths and pray for him. Did somebody of you ever see something like that happening in a church? For me it was quite new and quite confusing...I'll see if it's still next sunday.

When church was finished we had 'shared lunch', that means that everybody brings some food to share. I talked to some of the youths and ate something.

All in all I think the people attending that church believe and trust very much in god, it was kind of confusing and exciting to see that. One of those new experiences.

Hamish was there, too. He had spent the night at the Galts house. We walked home and started taking photos for my photography-project, Hamish was my photo-modell.
I learned two things:
1. It is hard to make a good photo and to make it look like you want it to.
2. Making somebody 'vanish' from a photo is damn hard.

Learned the second thing when I started to edit the photos and tried to make Hamish 'vanish' xD. Maybe I'll have to think of something else, but I won't give up that fast!

Afterwards I started answering emails and writing a text for a Rotary-magazine, introducing myself. That took a while. When I was finished I went on a walk. Before leaving Heather and I tried to get the cat into the house. We didn't manage it :D.
So when I started walking it was like I was just out the door and it started raining :D. Everybody should know what I mean.
Fortunately I didn't get lost ( but I was wet! )...you know..my sense of orientation is crap xD.

Well, when I wanted to listen to music on my netbook I realised I'm obviously to stupid to find the folder where it's saved :S. I'll have to look for my music later on again.

After tea Jim and I started a game of chess, we played about 70 minutes. You could almost feel the tension in the air...actually I lost, but it was quite exciting & fun :).

Today I put my NZ-Sim-Card into my mobile-phone. Justin said probably a Rotary-member can borrow me a cell-phone for my second sim-card. Would be great ;D!

I hope I didn't forget to tell you anything...mhh...tomorrow night I gotta daaaaaance :)! I cant'wait for it! Hope the teacher managed to find a partner..ohh, I'm so excited :D!
I'll tell you tomorrow how it was ;)! So you see..you have to keep on reading my blog xD. I'm going to print out my photos now and I'll have a look for my music, so see ya tomorrow =P!

Yours,

Timon.
